Returns and Terms

 

Returns

We accept returns up to 14 days after purchase.  Unfortunately, any returns after this date will not be accepted. 

To arrange a return, please email hello@teaandcake.co.nz to request your return within 14 days of purchase.  You will need to include a copy of your invoice or packing slip with your return.

Conditions of return:

• Item must be returned in new, unworn condition
• Item must be returned with original packaging/box
• Shipping costs and any associated tax or duties will not be refunded
• Returns must be sent at purchaser’s cost
• Returns must be packaged suitably to protect the item in transit. If it is damaged in transit due to unsuitable packaging we cannot accept the return.
• Items damaged by the customer will not be refunded. This does not include manufacturing faults (see manufacturing faults section)
• Item is only considered returned once Tea and Cake receive the item. If the item is missing in transit Tea and Cake will not be liable.  We suggest any returns are sent via tracked courier with signature requirement.

 

Refunds

Upon receipt of the returned item, our team will verify the return meets returns conditions.  If accepted, your refund will be processed, and a credit applied to your original method of payment.  You will be notified via email of this outcome.  If rejected, we will contact you to discuss.

 

Sales, Specials, and Coupons

Items which are on sale, are at a special price, or sold using a coupon code are ineligible for returns.

 

Manufacturing faults

Tea and Cake stands by its workmanship and will accept returns within 3 months for manufacturing faults. 

 

Please note, manufacturing faults do not include:

• Chipped, cracked or broken gemstones
• Damaged settings where it is deemed excessive force has caused the damage (e.g. prongs from settings being pried open, or tension set stones forced out of place)
• Scratched metalwork
• Oxidisation on metalwork
• Jewellery that has bent out of shape
• Broken chains
• General wear and tear
